The ViBe Creative District is located at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Its mission is to promote, support, connect, and inspire the arts and creative industries. There are many events that take place in the ViBe District. The Old Beach Farmer's Market pops up every Saturday from 9am-12pm in the parking lot of Croc's 19th Street Bistro. Every first Friday, you can come experience the Dragonfly Summer Concert Series.
The ViBe Mural Festival took place from May 11-20. Even though the festival is over, you can still enjoy the artwork. A total of 10 murals were painted and all are within 1 mile of each other. Kate Pittman, executive director of the ViBe Creative District nonprofit stated, "We are thrilled at the opportunity to share 10 new murals with the City of Virginia Beach's residents and visitors."
