We really enjoyed our stay at Cuddlefish. It was reasonably priced and just a short walk across the street to access the beach. It is a bit of a drive to the grocery store, so plan ahead to minimize trips. Having both a pool and hot tub was nice, and even the small yard area allowed for a family volleyball game. The bed arrangement was a little tricky, because although it sleeps 18, there are only 4 bedrooms. The dishwasher was finicky and often difficult to start, meaning we did a lot of washing dishes by hand (who wants to do that on vacation?) An ice machine would be a nice added amenity. The kitchen seating was ample for our group, and allowed us all to dine together. The check in process was surprisingly efficient, though I wasn’t impressed by the cleanliness of the house at check-in, especially during a pandemic. Pro tip: be sure to request your required number of towels ahead of time, as they left only about half of what we needed (11 instead of 18), and we had to wait until Monday to get the additional towels (called the linen company on Sunday and they wanted to charge me for them!!!) Overall, I’d consider staying there again, though I’d definitely explore other possibilities first.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation this year at Cuddlefish. After an initial issue with bed linen and towels the rest of the week was exceptional. This was probably the best week of family vacation since we have been coming to Sandbridge. The oven in the kitchen needs to be checked because of a loose faceplate for the knobs which sometimes causes the light in the oven to make a fast flicker along with noise from the faceplate. However, it does work and is not a big issue but probably should be checked. The house and all amenities make for a great vacation.

It took some time to get someone out but we were leaving for dinner and decided we would make our own beds. After the first day everything went well and made for a wonderful stay. There should also be some flexibility on check-in time for houses that have been cleaned and are ready for occupancy. Thirty minutes prior to scheduled check-in is not unreasonable if the house is ready for occupancy. This is our second consecutive year staying at Cuddlefish but unfortunately because of the increase in cost for 2020 we will not be returning to this particular property.
