One of the best things about summer is all the music! There are no shortage of venues in Virginia Beach and some are even free!
Virginia Beach Oceanfront
There is plenty of entertainment down at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on multiple stages. This weekend, you'll find the Symphony of the Seas Concert Series on Friday, July 12. On Sunday, July 14 head over to the 34th St stage where the Tiki Bar Band will be performing. There are three main stages/gazebos.
Commonwealth Vibez
Each month on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, three bands will play on ViBe Park's stage from noon to 10pm. Along with live music there will be pop-up vendors and craft beer. This event is a collaboration between Commonwealth Brewery and the ViBe Creative District.
Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater
Not too far from Sandbridge is the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater. This outdoor arena showcases national acts. There is reserved seating as well as a lawn section. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair if you decide to grab some lawn seats. A few of the bands performing this concert season are Journey, Def Leppard, Jason Aldean, and the Dave Matthews Band.
Ynot Wednesdays
Ynot Wednesday will take place every Wednesday at the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza until the end of August. Visitors will enjoy music ranging from blues to Motown to 80s favorites. There is definitely something for everyone. Ynot is the official sponsor and will be offering pizza, sandwiches, and gelato. Get your fill of fresh fruits, vegetables, and homegrown items from the Virginia Beach Farmers Market which will also be on site.
